What Is BBL Treatment?
BBL (BroadBand Light) is an advanced light-based treatment that uses a broad spectrum of light to target various skin concerns. It targets skin issues more precisely and treats a wider range of skin conditions with greater customization than the traditional IPL. It also offers a more comfortable experience due to its advanced cooling features and involves minimal downtime.
BBL Treatment can be combined with MOXI for a powerful way to the appearance of aging skin in all skin types.

What Does BBL Treat?
BBL helps reduce the appearance of common skin disorders, including brown spots, rosacea, broken capillaries, acne and overall sun damage. It can also treat signs of aging such as wrinkles and/or age spots.
Pre-Treatment
- Avoid direct sun exposure and/or artificial tanning products for at 2-4 weeks prior to treatment
- Discontinue photosensitizing topical products 1 week prior to treatment (retinol, glycolyic, salicylic, etc)
- Skin must be completely clean prior to treatment (no makeup, moisturizer, etc)
- Numbing cream is optional
Post-Treatment
- Minimal to no downtime is expected and you may resume normal skincare routine the next day
- You may apply ice over the treatment areas to help reduce any redness, swelling, or discomfort.
- You may shower after your treatment. Avoid hot water and do not scrub or exfoliate skin (gently pat your skin dry).
- Soothing lotions such as Aloe Vera and Aquaphor may be applied to help alleviate any itching or stinging
- Use sunscreen and avoid any direct and indirect sunlight during the course of treatment.
- Do not use skin exfoliants, retinols, alpha-hydroxy acids, or bleaching creams for 10 to 14 days after your treatment.
- The gradual darkening of pigmentation will occur and begin to slough off in 7-10 days
