What Is MOXI?
The MOXI is a laser treatment that uses non-ablative laser technology to stimulate collagen production and promote the regeneration of healthy skin cells. The procedure is relatively gentle, with minimal downtime, and can treat all skin types any time of the year.
MOXI can be combined with BBL Treatment for a powerful way to the appearance of aging skin in all skin types.
What Does MOXI Treat?
MOXI is commonly used to treat skin issues such as sun damage, melasma, uneven skin tone, fine lines, and overall skin texture.
Pre-Treatment
- Avoid direct sun exposure and/or artificial tanning products for at 2-4 weeks prior to treatment
- Discontinue photosensitizing topical products 1 week prior to treatment (retinol, glycolyic, salicylic, etc)
- Skin must be completely clean prior to treatment (no makeup, moisturizer, etc)
- Numbing cream will be applied to treatment area 30 minutes prior to procedure
Post-Treatment
- Minimal downtime is expected and you may resume normal skincare routine the next dayYou may apply ice over the treatment areas to help reduce any redness, swelling, or discomfort.
- You may shower after your treatment. Avoid hot water and do not scrub or exfoliate skin (gently pat your skin dry).
- Avoid working out and sweating for 48 hours.
- Soothing lotions such as Aloe Vera and Aquaphor may be applied to help alleviate any itching or stinging
- Use sunscreen and avoid any direct and indirect sunlight during the course of treatment.
- Do not use skin exfoliants, retinols, alpha-hydroxy acids, or bleaching creams for 7-10 days after your treatment.
