What is the AviClear Acne Reduction Treatment?
AviClear is the first and only FDA cleared laser device for the treatment of mild to severe acne. It works by shrinking sebaceous glands treating current acne and preventing future acne breakouts. Acne can now be eliminated in just 3 easy thirty minute appointments.
How Does It Work?
AviClear’s 1726 nm wavelength treats acne at the source by selectively targeting and suppressing the sebaceous glands safely and effectively.
What Does AviClear Treat?
The AviClear laser treats multiple different types of acne, including comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), papules, pustules, nodules, and cystic acne.
Recommended Treatments:
3 sessions, 4-6 weeks apart
Pre-Treatment:
Avoid direct sun exposure and/or artificial tanning products for at 2-4 weeks prior to AviClear treatment. Discontinue retinol, glycolic acids or serums, etc. 1 week before treatment.
Post-Treatment:
No downtime is expected, and you may resume normal skincare routine the next day. Apply sunscreen immediately post-treatment and every day for at least the next 7-10 days. Apply ice if any discomfort is noted post-treatment.
Who is AviClear for?
AviClear is not recommended for those who have had direct sun exposure or used tanning lotions within the last 2-4 weeks. It is not approved for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
